Background: FloridaOne Inc. A not for profit corporation, hereafter called the “corporation. The corporate vision and mission has been to support our teams with resources to prepare for and respond to disasters. The business of the corporation has grown and found additional sources of support, the source of that support. The goal has been to diversify, and find support from multiple entities’. To this vision the corporation has reached out and sought crisis stress team members to add to its portfolio of activities.Emerald Coast Crisis Stress Team (ECCST) will consist of about 15 members that can be utilized at any time for crisis stress response. Trainings are offered for team members.  The team members have a proven track record of successful and completed missions. Each mission ends with a review for improvement planning, and documentation for future assignments assignments. The Emerald Coast Crisis Stress Team is an elite group of volunteers that responds to the mental health needs of first responders in the aftermath of a natural disaster, act of terrorism, or critical incident.It’s an evidence-informed concept that has been successfully established in several states. The crisis stress team is trained and/or certified in CriticalIncident Stress Management (CISM).
